On balanceI found the reform stuff disgusting. But where has forgiveness and allowing people to put things right in society gone FFS. It wasn't illegal it was just wrong.
BUT I'm so tired of you and others clogging the board (on both sides of it) and doing this self righteous agenda and quite frankly pushing your politics. I'm 1000% anti reform. They are disgusting. But I and others come to this board for football talk and about our team and it's frankly a release from all this nonsense that's happening in politics (and please don't patronise us saying it's nothing to do with politics).
Can we please drop it now and let people enjoy the forum.
You know very well the only thing that comes from your posts is starting infighting and an argument. You know this. You cant honestly think this behaviour brings people to your side? It does the opposite and it's divisive.
Imagine getting on a plane and thinking - just before I take off I better just get one more devisive message out in a deliberately inflammatory way. It's frankly pathetic. Sorry.

To forgive you have to say sorry.
You also donât have to participate in these threads. Those that do, shouldnât be silenced by posts like this on either side.
Especially when it exposes those on here who would side with Nazis and the fash.

I uppied Nutkins post as, whilst I don't agree with all of it, I think the obvious trolling and needling from both sides is tedious. People can do what they want (and I think it is fairly obvious where my opinion lies!).
I am all for civilised discourse and debating in good faith, and I fully agree that people shouldn't be silenced for their opinions. However, such as with most of life at the moment, civilised discourse seems to get buried under people just trolling or yelling at each other which only really serves to alienate people and move the needle backwards rather than forwards.
This is just my opinion, mind, and I realise it will be seen by most as naive and will change nothing. However, if people just ignore obvious trolls, then they soon get bored. Unfortunately the mantra of 'be better' is sadly an impossible goal for many (we can all be guilty of slipping, but there is a difference between slipping and always trolling/responding).
I would add... it has always been thus on TWTD (and now the wider world of social media), so this is hardly a new phenomenon and is unlikely to change any time soon.

Sure, but fundamentally the long winded âstop posting about thisâ posts when thereâs no obligation to join in is such a weird phenomenon on a message board where you have so much functionality to mute threads, especially if you canât just scroll post them.
Likewise, heâs clearly missed the point that Ashton doesnât want or deserve forgiveness which is the crux of the argument.
You can see on here those who are so not bothered they are on every thread after disrespecting our war dead on VE day are the biggest problem.

Lighten up ffs! It was just nice to know I wouldn't have to read his nonsense for a few hours!
