The offices all look clean and modern and befitting of a premier league club. But did anyone else think “what the fk do all these people do?” The game has changed. And we’re no doubt a smaller operation than most other prem clubs.

Averaged 369 through 24/25 at the end of the last financial year (so ~12 months ago), up from 295 the year before.

Hey, Illy! Been meaning to ask. I'm running the Chicago Marathon on 11th October this year. Any idea what I can expect the weather to be like? Obviously not after specific weather on the day - just what a typical mid-October might be like. [Post edited 29 Jun 14:36]

Nice one! October is normally a great month weather-wise. Anywhere mid 50s to mid 70s are likely. And assuming the marathon route takes you in or around the lake, should be a nice breeze to cool you down. Good luck!

For sure marketing and branding are important. Not sure it directly translates to football given that positivity and success is tied so closely to what the first team does. That said, Ashton’s clear love and ambition for the Foundation and community outreach is massively important in winning over the hearts and minds of not just fans but beyond, too.
