| Massive game for O'Neil today 08:54 - Sep 12 with 2781 views | Backtoblue78A | If we concede early again, or are full of defensive errors, I fear for the next few games. Something positive is required before the international break. | | | | |

| Massive game for O'Neil today on 08:57 - Sep 12 with 2270 views | WolfieAtTheBack | If we get a point today and play well is all we can ask for, a win would be great but in no way expected. Looking forward to this one, it should be more of a 'game' than Liverpool and confident we can do something. | | | |
| Massive game for O'Neil today on 08:59 - Sep 12 with 2248 views | Radlett_blue | Palace & Everton away will be good tests of our ability to compete away from home this season. I'm not expecting us to win today - no wins at this level will be achieved easily - but I'm hoping to see us be very competitive. 2 comfortable defeats in these games will set the alarm bells ringing, but let's see how we perform first. I want to see us looking hard to play against & strong as a defensive unit. It's clear we offer more as an attacking unit this season. | |

Played some really nice football and created lots of chances against Man U and Liverpool bagged 3 points against a good Sunderland side, , but unfortunately people just want instant results and success. It’s going to be a long ol season unfortunately. I’d take a point and a good performance today, but I genuinely think we will win today. 1-3.

| Massive game for O'Neil today on 09:29 - Sep 12 with 2059 views | Overtheborderblue | In most games at the beginning of our last season in the Premier we were competitive, taking the lead on a few occasions but could not increase our lead or we conceded to not hold on and had a number of draws where maybe we should have held on to win. It is not a massive game for GON today for goodness sake but it is another game to hopefully improve in defence and the new team to continue to grow and gel together. Please do not write off the team and GON after just three games at the beginning of the season especially when two of the three were Man U (Champions league) and Liverpool with £100 million + players Be sensible! | | | |

| Massive game for O'Neil today on 11:42 - Sep 12 with 1560 views | Nutkins_Return | Taking the emotion out of let's just say it how it is. He's done a good job. Impressive pre-season. Excellent performance and results at Sunderland. Fantastic first half at Old Trafford which ended with a. Bit of a harsh scoreline but we did fold a bit. Couldnt contain Liverpool for 10 mins and then a good display. Hard to read too much into that game. There really shouldn't be much pressure on O'neil after 4 game unless we are awful today. Palace are odds on favourites. You look at their squad and it's really strong. They have multiple £40 mil players and in adam Wharton a £70-80+ mil man. You realize just how hard this league is. Hoping for a really good performance and let's see! | |

Bang on assessment Wharton will move to one of the top clubs next season All models and pundits precise a Palace win. But we’ve upped our squad quality and we have a chance - in GON we trust

I still think people just go on the name and think ‘of course we should do well against Palace. They’re only a tiny club’… A ‘tiny’ club who qualified for Europe and are stacked with quality. Every point we gain is going to be a point hard won. We need belief we can get something from every game of course, but not expectation. We’re going to have to be at our very best and other teams not quite firing to get anything from any game.

Not just qualified for Europe. They Won the European Conference league last season. And the FA cup the year before that. And these are the sorts of teams even 'away' some expect us to win or will put pressure in the manager. That is the scale of the challenge I guess. I wouldn't be putting the pressure on O'neill if we perform decently well regardless of the result. The flip side of course is despite how hard it is we will have to get some points away somewhere. Here is hoping.

| Massive game for O'Neil today on 12:28 - Sep 12 with 1284 views | OldFootball | Hopefully we won't have a defensive crumble like we've had the last two games. But if they are a similar strength to Sunderland, then all should be well. | | | |

They ALWAYS think that no-one can tell, don't they? Relentless negativity despite the most 'ITFC' usernames they can think of, pretending not to know about extremely well known 'Norwich things' and occasionally praising up Norwich 'legends' with etc sort of turn of phrase no Town fan would ever use. A Chris Sutton comment on today’s game has slightly irked me by Backtoblue78A 12 Sep 11:58Intelligent and articulate individual. Have to bear in mind that much of his radio work in particular has been around creating audience response and making people laugh.
He's a Premier League winner as a player and clearly has an informed knowledge of the game.
I find it strange that he generates so much antagonism just because he played down the road. Playing up to him pours fuel on the fire.
