Academy striker Ben Folami’s strike for the U18s in March’s 3-2 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday has been nominated in the League Football Education’s Goal of the Month competition.

The 17-year-old Australian’s edge of the area effort is included in a selection of the best goals from the academy leagues scored during March and April.

MooseJuice added 11:08 - May 19 Despite there being some great goals in there, and even one of the guys actually being called Great!... you're never going to win a goal competition if there is someone else in it who scored from their own half. When you're in a competition and TWO people score from their own half, then you know it's just not your month.
