Atmosphere wasn’t great last year but the game was terrible. Rubbish away day anyway. Despite having 40+ points I am not going there anymore. Will watch from the comfort of a nice pub in ipswich from now on and save myself The hassle |

We tried to get in there and they turned us away. We then ordered an Uber to go to the tennis court pub which was ok to be fair. Whilst waiting for the Uber some villa fans went past and some 60 year old said “tell You what. Mick mills is still a c**t and walked off”. Weird bloke, only thing he said to us. And then the yew tree stewards came over and said we could now go in. Too late we said. Looked a dump as well. As you say a very poor welcome compared to what they get at ipswich |

A few spare seats near me but I can’t believe people would spend £30 and just not bother going to a match. I think a few mates who can’t get tickets together just squeeze in and stand together leaving some spares |

Hard to disagree at this moment in time with this prediction.
3 days until we face Liverpool and Jackson Moore Sarmiento Ball Travis out & only Delap in is perhaps not what I was expecting this summer for our midfield & attacking options. (Omari is of course a superb signing but was with us last season)
Maybe it’s the lack of sleep in this heat causing a slight worry to my usual cheery self but the clock is ticking on getting the signings we need.
On the flip side after over 20 years part of me doesn’t care too much and I am just going to enjoy the ride and enjoy the under dog tag. |

Mates on 30 sat together but me and few others in 25 were all sat apart due to the scramble. At the end of the day the game was awful from an ipswich perspective. The singing was ok at the start and in patches but nothing was happening on the pitch. The players need us but we also need them.
Atmosphere is also never that great with limited away tickets. Off the top of my head Birmingham wasn’t great until the last 20 when we had something to sing about
Anyway Just one of those days and we move on. |

Was speaking with a few cardiff fans last week about this game. You have to go on the supporters coaches to and from the cardiff stadium to Swansea and only get your match tickets as you leave the coach at Swansea. All a bit OTT. |

Absolutely disgraceful to read about this.
I go on the Cardiff forum now and again and had earlier chatted about how refreshing it was to be able to wear colours and drink and chat with home fans before and after the game.
I will happily donate when this is set up. |

The ground is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of town & the pub near the ground is called the Sand Martin which is a standard Marstons pub. Been told by cardiff fans it’s friendly enough on match day. They also mentioned Canton Rugby club but not sure given it’s an early kick off. |

I went there in 1999. Spent about half an hour getting some
Photos then got the train back to Brisbane. It was a Sunday and nothing was open. Makes ipswich Suffolk look like Monte Carlo |

I know it's not just the north lower who should sing but going back years the north is where it starts - it's the hub. Seems to me there are way too many people who should have moved out years ago still in there offering nothing to the atmosphere. I got old and moved out. My mates did. We aren't up for 90 minutes of singing anymore.
Given the ground is now full I guess we have to accept this is how it is for the moment. That said fair play to blue action and the boys in the corner of the cobbold. You both sound good from the west stand. Keep it up. |

I run a weekly Thursday night session at goals. We have about 18 people signed up and depending on availability it’s either 5 or 6 aside. Age range is probably 28-57 and Half of us are over 50. Feel free to message me if you want any details. Cheers |

I love a good drum to get the fans going. Went to Huddersfield and we were “drumless” and the Huddersfield drummer certainly lifted their fans right next to us. Every stand should have one. |

We could not get tickets in with the ipswich that day so about 6 of us bought tickets on the day right next to our fans. Let’s be honest we were awful that season and bottom
Of the league and whilst Liverpool were not great we had not even discussed what to do if we scored as it seemed so unlikely. Needless to say we scored and without thinking we all jumped up and celebrated. The scousers did not like it one bit and the police and stewards came and thankfully moved us in with the ipswich. We weren’t in their faces or anything like that and given how many Liverpool have always been in with us at Portman road it did get me a little bit. |

Good morning.
If any football fans fancy a weekly game of five a side at goals in ipswich on Thursdays at 8pm then Message me as new players are always welcome.
The Age ranges from 25 to 56 and most are late 40s. It’s not a league we just get 10 or 12 players, pick teams and have some exercise and fun. No commitment to play every week and a few of us then go to the Dove for a post match beer.

I won’t lie but at the final whistle I felt very teary. Seeing the fans, players coaches celebrating like that was a special moment. Our fans are the best, god knows how the season will end but we deserve this moment we really do. |

Wise words and it’s exactly how I feel. People keep saying we have spent millions and to not go up is a disaster but football is not that simple. This is a project. It’s clear we are on the right path and it just might take a bit longer than we hoped. As I have said on Twitter I have sat through so much rubbish since Joe Royle left that the last year has been an absolute blessing. Roll on Tuesday. |
