Well, I like him 12:30 - Apr 25 with 30477 views | textbackup | Like what he had to say, seems to know his stuff, and he hasn’t bullsht at all. That’s all I, we, have wanted for years, there’s nothing there we didn’t know, but he’s spoken. I’m back on board UPPA FCKIN TOWEN

Well, I like him on 12:32 - Apr 25 with 10463 views | LeighOnSeaBlue | Completely agree, he comes across very well. He should've done this years ago though COYB

Well, I like him on 12:32 - Apr 25 with 10451 views | LankHenners | Nothing we hadn't heard before but good to get it coming directly from him and delivered in a very calm, assured manner that will no doubt soften some people's judgement of him and help bring the club and fans back together again. As ever, he now needs to back up his words with actions.

Makes so much difference doesn't it. Has stirred my passion again
Well, I like him on 12:34 - Apr 25 with 10375 views | Kieran_Knows | Watched half of it and thought it was decent enough, will watch the rest a little later on. As others have said, just a shame it wasn't done a few years sooner, but hey ho!

Well, I like him on 12:37 - Apr 25 with 10261 views | dirtyboy | Clearly a measured man and has a plan to stick to. Seemed very normal. Liked what he said about his children asking him at the table to put £10m in lol!
Well, I like him on 12:38 - Apr 25 with 10222 views | tortoise | Agreed, thought he was pretty spot on and seemed to know his stuff, which was reassuring.
Well, I like him on 12:39 - Apr 25 with 10212 views | Magic31 | He's done it. MM is out, ME has spoken, over to us lot! Genuinely wouldn't be surprised to see 15k season ticket holders next season, it's like a black cloud has evaporated the last 3 weeks. COYB!

This I'm afraid is true. I thought he came across well but I expected that anyway. He did seem to be more clued up on football in general than I thought. He answered every question honestly and although they were obviously rehearsed they were exactly the questions that we would want putting. Fair play to the man, I thought he came across very well and his desire came across.

Well, I like him on 12:41 - Apr 25 with 10137 views | horsehollerer | Exactly. Strong leadership is as much about communication as decision making. Fair play to Marcus for agreeing to address the tough issues, and doing so with intelligence and humility. That's all we really needed. Now it feels less like a rudderless ship. Don't be a stranger, ME.

What? He said nothing that we didn't already know, other than that we'll be waiting another month at least to get a new manager. Nothing new in there at all.

Whilst I agree it wasn’t anything we didn’t already know it was from him at least, seems to have passion to succeed. Side note, extremely ironic you saying I’m easily pleased when you found positives in MMs football weekly. But as the man said, game of opinions

There was nothing groundbreaking but it was reassuring that he truly does get it. I'm sure most people knew it wasn't going to be major stuff but he answered most of the questions people wanted answered.

The point is, he's actually said it, himself, on camera. It is no longer supposition or inference, second-hand (or purely text) information. Direct from the horse's mouth, what the key decisionmaker at the club presents himself as actually thinking. I'm more surprised that people thought there would be any dramatic revelations.

It's not always what you say, it's how you say it, and this was an important interview in that respect. Little things like referring to the players by their first names ("Emyr, Callum" etc) go a long way to restoring public faith in him as an owner who takes an interest and gives a damn. The "failure" discussion was important too.
