New White Hart Lane really coming on 14:40 - May 21 with 3745 views | unstableblue | http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/club/new-stadium/stadium-aerial-photos-may- Roof panels, seats, screens, the retractable pitch mechanism going in this week. But what impresses me every time and can be well seen in these photos, is the massive single area kop behind the goal.... its where Man City, Chelsea, Ipswich and especially Arsenal went wrong... you need all you singing fans together in one area...that new South Stand single tier holds 17,500. Incredible. Oh and the front row seats are never more that 5meters from the pitch!

New White Hart Lane really coming on on 14:44 - May 21 with 3694 views | StokieBlue | Looking really superb. London could basically host an international championship finals on it's own once that's completed. Insane really. SB [Post edited 21 May 2018 14:44]

Good article.... and I think they may well lose their manager as a result of the new stadium.. but those revenues will mean they can get back on top fairly soon. Keeping Kane, Eriksen and Alli will be key.

That's a great point, London grounds: 1. Wembley - 90,000 2. New Spurs - 62,000 3. West Ham - 60,000 4. Arsenal - 60,500 5. Chelsea - 41, 631 (60,000 planned) 6. Charlton - 27,500 7. Fulham - 25,700 (29,600 in progress) 8. Crystal Palace - 25,500 9. Twickenham - 82,000 Albeit in Russia only 2 grounds are as low as 35,000, the majority at 45,000, 12 ground in total. Euros easy!

I was just gonna say the opposite - all those fellas must be on at best, half the money they could get elsewhere, plus the pressure builds as they don't win anything (at all). The sums might have worked with a 400m stadium, but at a billion...? Dirty spurs can't keep this juggling act up for much longer.

Palace are trying to build a big new stand too - think it would bring their capacity to 35,000. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43832557

Craven Cottage is increasing to 30,000, the new Den is 21,000 and there is Loftus Road at a push. Wouldn't need them but plenty of stadiums to do a Euros. SB

New White Hart Lane really coming on on 16:02 - May 21 with 3285 views | SW6Tractor | Cycled past it at the weekend, it's pretty big despite being in quite a built up area. Will be a hell of a stadium when it's finished. Looking forward to seeing some of the NFL there...unless Spurs go down or a miracle occurs at PR in the next few years!

They wouldn't consider holding the Euros in one city.

New White Hart Lane really coming on on 16:08 - May 21 with 3266 views | King_of_Portman_Rd | There was a programme on tv the other night which followed the design and build of the Mercedes-Benz arena in Atlanta. Fascinating stuff with possibly the most incredible retractable roof. Well worth a watch as it boasts some really revolutionary features like a 360 degree rolling screen and is (reportedly) the most expensive sports arena ever built at circa $1.6 billion

Agreed. I only said that could, not that they would. Possibly wouldn't be a bad idea for UEFA to have it as a back-up plan in case any future tournament goes south just before it starts. SB
