Need a new left back and centre back and probably a right back depending on how much faith PL has in Donacien but I think that line up works and would do fairly well in league 1. Obviously the new centre back / Wolfie will have to take the place of Chambers for the first games. Edwards arguably ahead of Lancaster as well depending on how their pre-season goes.

Just like last season, I fear a lot of people desperately hoping that our two main on-pitch leaders will be dropped this coming season are going to be sore disappointed.
Personally I can see Skuse getting phased out over the course of next season, but he'll be in the line up at Burton. [Post edited 21 Jun 2019 14:40]

I think he'll be looking for Downes to come more to the fore as a (not like-for-like) replacement and sign someone else.
Or he'll just sign another midfield tip-tapper, we'll be left even more lightweight in CM and he'll have to play him. |  |

Tin hat time...but if Nsiala finds his Shrewsbury form and the contribution we saw he’s capable of at times (albeit infrequently) last season, and Woolfy can step up, then I wouldn’t be surprised to see Chambers back at right back. Not ideal, but it is an option.

My worry with Kenlock is in a back 4. Unless he can improve his general awareness. He is a far better in a 5 as too often he get caught out of position (normally too far up field with a huge gap behind him) which then leads to errors from the other players in the back 4 as they in turn get pulled out of position as a result. If he can learn when to sit and when to go better then he will be ok. | | | |
