It was always going to be this way. I've said it from the start Lambert was never going to rotate the whole season and it was to enable us to finish the season strong (in theory!)

Thing is, other than over the Busy Christmas Period, he really hasn't needed to rotate, fiddle and faff half as much as he has.

I’m warming to him as he’s scoring goals, he is useless most of the time though....

Hope Jackson just has a slight knock or something and not on his way to Peterborough.

Mullers has a big stuffy for anyone called 'Keane'. Bless him, he even thinks Famous Keane wasn't our Worst Ever Manager.

Royston was a giant of his day, but not being worse than Paul Jewell or Hurst is hardly his fault. Anyone who says otherwise is a cretin frankly. He occupies the relegation spot on merit but he's not the basement boy.

Maybe be knows what he's doing?

My personal theory is that he's been working to the Famous Roy theory of team selection which states that 'you only make a sane selection when forced to'.
FR's most obvious example was finally playing Delaney at CB because he was forced to by injuries, PRP's is stopping rotating his squad when told to by the bloke who pays his wages.

He threw several games deliberately so to be sorted for Accrington Stanley.

It's obvious when you think about it.

Come on now, you know that's not true. FR, like Hurst after him utterly decimated a solid but not slightly uninspiring and generally wreaked havoc that would be felt for years to come. Jewell was *just* rubbish. Lambert is Jewell to Hurst's Keane.

Lambert
Keane
Jewell
Hurst

Those are the facts. Roy wasn't a very nice man, I get that, some people have feelings and that. However, Jewell was like a drunk Uncle and produced some of the most gutless and tactically illiterate football ever seen at FPR. For a bloke so experienced he has zero excuse.

Lulling the rest of the division into a false sense of security by embarking on a winless run that nearly equalled that of Famous Roy.

Keane is directly responsible for us ending up in division 3. Had he not spunked MILLIONS on utter sh1t, ME might have been inclined to back any of the men who followed him.

With all that inside access you get to the team and all the games and training you watch, I can only assume what you say is true.

It's clearly true. He stopped faffing about with the team and formation and we've started looking halfway decent because the players actually have a chance to form some understandings. I just wish he was competent enough to realise it mid-November.

Yep. I know Mullet has a boner for him, but Keane's all round play hasn't been too great so far. He can finish though!
