It hurt me to boo yesterday... 19:47 - Feb 23 with 5107 viewsSitfcB

...I don’t usually but the players have had an easy ride for long enough and they need to realise it’s not going well.

Most happy clapped them to relegation ffs.

It didn’t hurt to boo and chant towards Lambert and I’m glad it was loud and clear to him!!

11 games to go... still got to believe we can do it!!

Hopefully the fans reaction yesterday will actually spur them on!!

I think it would be a bit easier to believe that we can do it if all except two of the teams involved had got more games to play than us and most if not all of them are in better form.

What’s the general feeling in the heart of the north stand?

I fear Lambert and the owner harbour the romantic notion that this will all be ok in time.

Wrong.

Owner, manager & players need to know what is currently happening is unacceptable.

The general feeling is that more people are turning each week.

What RIG said.

Yesterday was the most anti-Lambert it’s ever been and getting worse game by game.

I think his comments yesterday about the fans will bite him in the arse and he’ll end up saying something bad about the support.

Whether you believe you are entitled or not, dong it is pretty much certain to damage rather than improve prospects. Confidence and belief is so important in football. Anything which chips away at that is negative.

It’s the loudest chanting I’ve heard against a manager at Town.

I missed the end of Micks last season so can’t compare the two.

I do agree but yesterday was bad, especially the second half. Just an outpouring of frustration.

I can’t recall anything as loud as that against Mick but then again he never used to come over to the fans at home, win or lose.

To be fair during the game it was all positive.

11 games, or to put it another way, a quarter of this season.

11 game, a quarter of a season, with 7 out of 11 at home.

There really is no excuse.

Look at this table, from the day before Accrington away:

https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-tables/competition:league-one/daterange/fromdate:2

For half a season we've had bottom half form. And we've played the most game in the division in that time.

Truly impaired.

First half- the noise was pretty impressive for L1.

2nd half- when the support was needed, it was quiet. But not abusive.

Fair enough but that’s fairly standard. It’s a two way street.

Indeed. But having played well first half, they needed the support second half- and didnt really get it. Fair enough after 15 minutes of crap but.... could have supported big time from the off. We used to do that.

The “five more years, you’re having a laugh” (copyright me) chant grew in strength when PRP came down to the SBR at the end of the game, there’s no way he didn’t hear them.

For those in the other stands, was audible from where you were?

I reckon his first move will be chuck evans under the bus, then he'll go for fans, then he'll say something about "they should support as well as Norwich do" then he'll leave

Meh, if the players can’t take a boo after the previous 22 games in the third tier of English football then they are probably in the wrong game.

Toxic atmosphere is what ultimately sent Mick packing.

I sit North Upper and Mick got much worse and much louder abuse than that, hence the need for the Hull on-pitch team talk. It's often hard/impossible to hear the lower tier from up there but I imagine whatever was being sung upstairs was being sung downstairs too.

6 wins in 29 games. Should be getting absolute pelters. Bloated squad full of overrated players led by a charlatan. Struggling to make Division 3 playoffs ffs. Struggling to compete with Fleetwood. That’s Fleetwood.
