watching the Coventry goal on the highlights 15:37 - Mar 9 with 2312 views | stewartm | I think Chambers was caught well short again! Coventry player gets goal side of Chambers who again does not react (ball watching), the Wolf reacts but it is too late.

I don't like picking out players for criticism but Nolan gets himself out of trouble by falling over and claiming fouls quite a lot. Clearly in this case it didn't work.

watching the Coventry goal on the highlights on 16:35 - Mar 9 with 2119 views | Bluespeed225 | Does it show our ridiculous idea to play out from Norris goal kick to the right back, who then decided to play it right across the back to the left back( those in SBRL block 4 were already fearing the worst at THIS point) who fudged it up to the midfield where it was lost. The problem started with the goal kick. Who tells them they are capable of playing out from a g/k??

watching the Coventry goal on the highlights on 18:13 - Mar 9 with 1909 views | longtimefan | Chambers is caught out but it is all down to Nolan losing possesion. Because Nolan loses it Garbutt is caught too far forward, meaning Chambers has two players running off him. Also, if Wolfy had held the same line as Chambers, rather than 5 yards behind, the goalscorer would have been offside! Poor allround but doesn't happen if Nolan hadn't been weak.

Get with programme dad, Chmbers isn't just reponsible for that, he's reponsible for all the cock-ups Lambert's made as well.

The problem was on Saturday for their goal he got himself in trouble by doing his usual sideways/turning backwards trott through the midfield whilst actually going nowhere

watching the Coventry goal on the highlights on 15:47 - Mar 10 with 1507 views | clive_baker | My take on Chambers is he's probably a great bloke and has undoubtedly been a good servant, but ultimately he's past it as a footballer and out of his depth at this level now. He's not helped by being flanked by a pair of pony fullbacks more often than not, and often had a clown alongside him in Nsiala or Wilson who is little more than your archetypal lower league stopper. It really is mad how we've not had any decent full backs for what feels like forever. Yes KVY getting injured was unfortunate, but it really needs to be priority number 1 this summer if we're going to look like a proper side any time soon. Donacien and Earl, not for me. Edwards & Garbutt, not strong enough defensively. Kenlock, arguably better and should definitely have played more, but realistically we need to upgrade. If we had a pair of proper, out and out, defenders in those full back roles it would give us more license to go with a 4-4-2, and Chambers would probably get away with a little more. I'm not even talking about world beaters, just a Jonathan Parr and Kevin Foley of their Ipswich day slotted in there. Comfortable on the ball, street wise, just proper defenders. We can but dream.
