There's going to be a lot of this. Small businesses aren't going to be able to ride this out for very long.

In the 38 games in which ALB played in goal for us, we averaged 1.53 points per game which, had they been over the course of a single season, would have seen us challenging for the play offs. This at a time when we were otherwise struggling against relegation. Oh, and didn't Mick Mills have terrific posture.

That is sad news.

There was a certain "too cool for school" attitude about some of the clientele in there, but the food they served was top notch.

Find that a bit odd, they have a highly successful restaurant in Chinatown, Mizu has done exceptionally well the owner drives a £160k Mclaren, surely they had enough in the reserves to ride out this storm

You think it could be delayed by this?

That could be on finance? Doesn’t mean anything.

There’s going to be a lot more follow suit I feel.

We’re going to lose a few pubs and restaurants in Ipswich I fear.

Alot of small businesses,& even big ones, run really close to going bust all the time anyway & rely heavily on turnover income to keep paying the bills, interrupt that money flow for any reason,,with nothing coming in anymore but stacks still going out, as we are just hitting end of financial year it all adds up even with the government help

They are proceeding in a suitably cautious manner in uncertain times.

Am I wrong in thinking liquidation this soon after the lockdown may mean there were previous problems other than covid, just seems a bit quick.

For legal purposes, this is purely conjecture.

That or they're just looking ahead and cutting their losses.

Someone else on the thread said they have other interests so perhaps it's a case of tightening up and protecting those.

I can understand that if it were to be the case.

Well it looks like a duck, it sounds like a duck. Nope, dunno what it is.
