High point/low point of the season 10:39 - Apr 8 with 899 views | patrickswell | High point - the late FA Cup win at Lincoln. A measure of revenge for 2 years ago and just nice to get the monkey off our back of failing to win any FA Cup matches in nearly a decade. Low point - Lambert’s post match interview after the Fleetwood loss. Talking about the players’ struggle to cope with fans’ expectations. I was grateful for his candour but it was a stark sign of just what a mess we’re in and how unfit for purpose so much of our squad is. Couldn’t hack the Championship, can’t hack League One. They just want to bumble along in 14th place in the third tier and blame those who get upset about it. CoronaVirus has saved them from the atmosphere getting more toxic but I really hope that there’s a huge re-evaluation of where our season went wrong and lessons to be learnt.

Lincoln away in the league was the big moment and the time when he should have gone instantly. Rotherham away was the dawning of quite how far away we were. Surely the contract is low point though. High point? Maybe Tranmere away? I don't get as excited by Burton at home, we were nowhere near as conning as some (and the score) make out. We were almost out of the game at the start but the conditions made it a lottery. The most hope was Burton away, we weren't completely convincing but we had signs of a new fast breaking counter attacking side. Obviously it didn't last and wasn't ever seen again

High point/low point of the season on 10:49 - Apr 8 with 866 views | ITFC_Forever | High point - the third goal against Shrewsbury, with Downes arriving a la Wark late in to the box to head home. Low point - PRP getting a five year contract when we should have been showing him the door, then Fleetwood at home, for so many reasons, followed by this on-going hiatus which is going to save Lambert's job.

High point/low point of the season on 13:32 - Apr 8 with 740 views | Mullet | High point is Tranmere away by a long chalk. It was the only moment of "having our club back" BS made true. The last minute goal against Wimbledon was a good moment too. Everything else has been a constant adjustment to loss and degradation for over 18 moths now. There really is no point pretending the season has been anything but a slow collapse. We even beat Bolton 5-0 and looked sloppy and wasteful far too often. Capsule review. It's pretty much all sh1t.

High point/low point of the season on 10:19 - Apr 9 with 583 views | Chrisd | High point: Being top of the league and fuelling our enthusiasm as supporters we could get straight back up to the Championship. Low point: Getting bullied and outplayed away to Accrington Stanley, which was the start of our demise.

I know it pains you to give any positive recognition, it was still a high point from a mediocre season.

You have an odd idea of a highlight, short term statistics seem more important than reality. I expect you often use the phrase "play off form" when it suits you

Whether you like it or not, it happened. You have an odd idea of being a Town supporter with your constant negativity. You must be a real source of inspiration in the big wide world with that positive outlook, but hey-ho. [Post edited 9 Apr 2020 10:31]

High point/low point of the season on 10:32 - Apr 9 with 556 views | itfcjoe | High point - Fleetwood away A good win against a good side, we'd been winning without playing well but went up to a team who was 3rd in the league and put in probably our most complete performance and 1-0 flattered them. The league table that night looked a joy to behold. Low point - Fleetwood home Played off the park by that very same team in a performance devoid of confidence, quality and we looked miles behind them in every area. And then Lambert's post match comments, combined with the league table showed we are going nowhere with him at the helm
