No evidence linking UK government to fake NHS accounts 16:45 - Apr 21 with 4003 viewsTommyparker

Twitter says it does not currently see evidence that the UK government has tried to manipulate cornonavirus using fake accounts.
It comes after claims began circulating on social media implying the Department of Health and social care was behind a network of Twitter accounts pretending to be NHS staff.
The Department of Health tweeted that the claims were " categorically false".
Twitter adds that it " will remove any pockets of smaller coordinated attempts to distort or inorganically influence the conversation".
The BBC also currently has no evidence to support the suggestion these allegedly fake accounts had anything to do with the UK government.

Dry ice

smoke bombs
food smokers
badly lit wood burners
incense sticks
burnt toast

i could go on. the man is clearly spreading fake news.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

While we however are actively delivering brand spanking new ventilators as we speak.

That’s a very limited snippet of the real story.

I agree 100% with you that we can only go on the evidence provided

There is no smoke without fire and we know certainly that in the post-truth world, nothing is quite as it seems

The Tory Party have quite openly shown they are willing to lie digitally, I'm sure there was a minister who went as far to suggest that it's open season on social media so all is fair in love and war

We had those edited attack videos to make Keir Starmer look incompetent for example

So it's happened quite overtly and thus knowing the Social Media world and how it operates, it concerns me how people like this are willing to operate Covertly.

This is what is known, in TWTD circles, as a "GMPF situation".

It’s beyond satire. (Yes this is actually a real letter)

Bizarre. We went over all of this in March. UK representatives were in several meetings leading up to the release of these tenders. So "the UK did not receive an invitation in time" is simply a lie. He must have gone off script yesterday and has been brought back into line.

What on earth has that got to do with the price of fish?

We’re not debating the rights and wrongs of the scheme but the honesty and integrity of the people you voted to run our country.

Frankly, if these top Social Media operators are unable to conceal their black operations, they won't be in the business very long

The Fake news emanating from the no hospital beds story I linked earlier, did have an interesting trail back to a suspected source. It really didn't look great and that's without delving deeper into the digital footprint of the origin there. The intelligence services could probably identify the originator if they really needed to.

People say, well I used a VPN, I can't be traced, not through regular means no but I'm told actually the intelligence services can trace back a user through as many a 16 separate forwarded IP addresses. That won't trace a location, people assume IP addresses are physical locations like a postcode, they're not but it gives them clues none the less.

That kind of of digital forensics will only be used on heavy duty criminals, terrorists and enemies of the state.

So the Tories were safe with that one but it still didn't look brilliant, I have to say, not that Joe Public are going to be much bothered either way.

I'm not sure when that 'word' came into existence, but imho it is the perfect illustration of the low, dishonest, brass-necked manipulative nature of the type of human that floats to the top of governments, businesses and other filthy organisations all around the planet.

Wasn't that Hillary Clinton after claiming she had been under fire that time?

Edit: That's the first time I can remember hearing it anyway:
