Hi I have generally enjoyed the banter on the forum but the bunch of up their own ass bell ends that have taken it upon themselves to belittle anyone that dont agree with. So I will make it as simple as their views and delete my profile and move on. I have a low tolerance of self superiority and idiots congratulations
It's usually about some absurd belief that some poster or other holds dear and can't cope with it being criticised though. Usually science/anti science stuff.
Other than that in I can't recall there being many examples of reasonable posts getting turned on (unless it's part of a years long dispute between posters).
Edit - there was Dollys sausages. But I think that might fall under the pre-existing feud rule.

I've had many of my posts (from McCarthy to Brexit to Corbyn to the case for Scottish independence) turned on by people who seemingly can't address evidence. Which never fails to entertain me.
I think bluebare's problem is that he can't defend his viewpoint and knows those criticizing him are right.
Eh? As I said to Libero, I was replying to the *general* point they made in their OP of *this* thread, ie

I know, but his general point was only being made because he was crying about having his racism called out. Just wanted to let you know the context in case you were unaware.

"Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."
Unacceptable stuff should be called out, but I'm going to be honest this forum is a bit of an echo chamber for the same 10ish posters. From what I can tell they're all fortyish but are still trying desperately to be cool. Just ignore them if it bothers you.

Context has been offered multiple times by various different posters in this thread, all people have to do is read it. Mental.

Yeah man. It's cool not being racist.
Actually, it is.

Another one who drops by to have a pop and share his infinite wisdom.

Thanks for the context. As I said, I was replying specifically to his *OP*. I haven't seen the thread which was referenced by someone else but only halfway down this one. This thread looks as though it is now unfortunately starting to validate what looked like the *general* point of his OP that I was referring to.
I said unacceptable stuff should be called out fella. Keep up.
I think it's you who needs to keep up.
This is a thread about a poster crying because his racism was called out.
Now, if you have other specific examples you'd like to address please feel free to add them so we can discuss.

No worries. Didn't want you to accidentally rope yourself to this OP fella. I still think you're missing the point though. But let's leave it.

Oh no, what a shame.

I acknowledged it as unacceptable. Doesn't make the OP any less true though.
Some examples might help.

The main problem is that some people are so entrenched in their views that they will not listen to anyone else's and simply shut them down.
There is no middle ground with the majority of people on here, and they are totally polarised in their opinions. This has always been an issue whether the subject was football or politics, but without any meaningful football, it's all just politics.
The forum is no different to all social media where anyone can post anything, whether it's true or not and then everyone just piles on, if you try and point out any inaccuracy you just get ignored or abused.
My main issue is how threads get hijacked by people spouting their political opinions and abusing others, when the original point was not political. You could post a picture of your dinner and within 10 posts you'd have the lefty bum fest brigade arguing with the rabid right arsewipes.
My only suggestion is to click on the football only filter, but it's slim pickings at the moment for obvious reasons.
Anyway.
Lambert out.

I rarely go into politics threads as I wasn't even old enough to vote at the last election, but from what I can tell you're not allowed to not be a labour supporter on here. Interestingly it's the same group who get upset when you criticise Mick Mccarthy or Cole Skuse.

You have completely missed the point. Entirely.
As usual, you pop by, try to give adults a lesson in life despite being 16 or something, and then go on the defensive when you get put back into your box.
How about a little more humility and less of the act?

I vote Labour and love McCarthy and Skuse so..
Plenty of non- Labour voters are liked and respected on here. The ones who aren't tend to be motivated mainly by making life miserable for others and always seem unable to talk about their personal political philosophy in fully formed sentences.

Where in the OP is there anything about race? I haven't read this thread about noughts and crosses or whatever.
If you've not read it you probably should do before jumping in with a fully formed opinion, don't you think?

Take it you're not a fan of Greta Thunberg if you don't like young people giving their opinions to adults. Not sure I give 'life lessons' as 90% of the time I stick to football threads. What act? You've never met me so how can you say it's an act?
