UK BLM protest images by Libero 8 Jun 2020 7:19I’m having a look through various photos and videos from the UK protests over the weekend, there’s some really powerful and moving images and unlike most “awareness” campaigns I’m pretty sure this is going to create real change in public mindset as well as tangible change moving forwards for BAME people.
However, I can’t look at the protests in London in particular without feeling a queasy discomfort at the closeness of proximity of so, so, so many people in one place.
I fully support everyone’s right to protest, I’m right behind the movement and I understand why those who are angry are justifiably angry but I am concerned about the potential of a second peak being accelerated by the sheer number of people and the closeness of proximity between them.
It’s a bit difficult for me to square away that anxiety without feeling like I’m being a bit subversive.
Is it reasonable?

Even though I agree with the general points you have made on this thread I think it is a little bit rich you taking the moral high ground Ryorry when you were guilty as others of doing exactly the exact same thing the OP has highlighted on my comments on about the McCann's
My opinion on the McCanns is based on hours and hours of research. Which includes the excellent documentaries by independent investigators James Bogart, Richard d Hall, the Netflix Documentary, the official police report as well as various other sources. Does it make an expert on the McCan case? No but it certainly gives me the right to an opinion which just so happens to be the opinion of Cancarlo Amaral in his book the Truth of The Lie who the supreme court ruled in his favour in his appeal against the McCann's suing him for libel. The same view as his replacement Tavares De Almeida, the same as the criminal profiler Pat Brown amongst others.
I even provided links to evidence & sources that back up my opinion but all you and most of the others could do was to try and discredit my opinion by lazily calling it vile tabloid gossip & speculatuon . No decent counter argument, no links to evidence for me to look at that may contradict my opinion. In the end just a pile in of rudeness ignorance and arrogance. [Post edited 21 Jun 2020 14:52]
