Brilliant how he found some space and then glided it beyond the keeper.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an own goal where the defender takes a touch before slotting it home. That’s incredible. [Post edited 18 Jul 2020 22:20]

Nodge down to nine men on 19:09 - Jul 18 by BlueBadger | I've done some googling. Because in my defence, Hilarous Norwich Relegations are petty plentiful. This was 2005. For connoisseurs, this is the best Norwich relegation ever. They went into this game with a pretty decent chance to stay up against a Fulham side in 13th(?) with literally nothing to play for. They were stuffed 6-0 and went down whilst a side managed by Bryan Robson(the thinking man's Roy Keane), who'd been in the bottom 3 most of the season stayed up. The only one that comes close in the 'tragic Norwich relegation' stakes is '95(Chasing UEFA cup place before Christmas, relegated in May) but frankly, we were(and remain) in NO position to take the piss over that one. If I could understand what you were trying to say here, I'd probably say 'give over you massive fanny; as a considered response, so all things considered, I'd like to say this: Give over, you massive fanny.

Indeed but Norwich’s defeat today means they will end up with less PPG than our 94/95 side. Further to that, Norwich have one more opportunity to gather points from a losing position in the Premier League this season. They currently have 0 points from losing positions. To put that into context, they’ve managed to gain 8 less points from losing positions than our 94/95 side.
Nodge down to nine men on 22:35 - Jul 18 with 1499 views | JimmyJazz | They don't look like a team that are ready to storm the Championship next season They have some good youngsters (4) but the rest clearly aren't good enough for the Prem, so there's little point keeping this team together to try for promotion again

Nodge down to nine men on 19:01 - Jul 18 by BlueBadger | Here's the thing: Would we enjoy this if we were in the Premier League as well? Of course we would, every bit as much. We've got f*ck all to enjoy about football at the moment, so we might as well enjoy this. Lambert out. |
Fair enough if you can do that but as things stand ,we all know they are miles better than us and sadly a better run club . Even after this terrible season for both clubs . Your Lambert out speaks volumes .

Note that this tweet mentions the goal scored by one time Ipswich loanee Chris Wood. But the clean sheet kept by former Ipswich youth squad keeper (and Town Season ticket holder) Nick Pope also deserves a mention. Just a shame that we did not keep hold of him.
