Based on this performance and the Colchester game he looks more than good enough to fill in as fourth choice CB if and when Toto is sold. Impressive

He's looked top quality in this half and the Col U game. Anyone seen any more of him?

Thought he looked solid second half and looks like a good ball player. Looks like a better option the Wilson at the moment. I kind of want to see Wolfie and Ndaba start a friendly, but ensure that Ward is in the team as well.

I think Woolfie is clearly ahead of him but Ndaba on this performance must be pushing him hard. I reckon you need Chambers or Wilson with one of them. I don't think having Ward at LB will provide enough for 2 inexperienced CBs together unless we are struggling for CBs.

He’s got a lot to prove, those that watch him regularly doubt he has what it takes to play centre back, he’s also had some very unsuccessful loan spells at non league clubs.

I’d be surprised if he makes the grade, but it’s promising to hear he impressed today.

First I've really seen him play, tbf I was very impressed to the point where I was thinking that we probably don't need a CB as badly as a lot of our supports feel, I'm sure he will do better than just hold his own in the league campaign ahead.

I’m absolutely lost.

I’ve posted a fair overal asses, ent if where Ndaba is currently in terms of development, received a random downvote and been told I know why I’ve received it, when I haven’t the foggiest.

Maybe I need to go for a lay down and have a think.

Well I wouldn't pay him any mind. A downvote from Gazzer is at the other end of the spectrum from getting an upvote from Guthers.

I would offer you a response, but I’m not sure my wet tissue paper-like skin could take another piece of public disapproval from the boards intellectual heavyweights.

That’s awkward, doesn’t he know you “walk the dog” in those situations?

First time I've seen him and I was impressed. Was calm and assured - especially good given the quality of the opposition.

Possibly my best player of the whole game.

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

Sounds like he had a good game, here’s hoping he does the work and steps up rapidly to maintain that high standard.

There've been quite a few newbies about haven't there, maybe they just come for the football, who knows.

Iirc someone did get a couple of upvotes for commenting that JD might be aka 'Alanis'? I wondered if it was a ref to the late lamented 'AlanAndAnthea'!

Yeah. I only have that to go on to be fair but if we were basing it on that one game I'd have no worries putting him in. Maybe the opposition and surroundings made him step up? A youngster like that could've got slaughtered by Spurs but he more than held his own and had some quick feet too. Looked good on the ball and made good decisions.

Indeed, very possible.

As I say, he’s got it all to prove. Even if you put aside the fact he was sent home early from both of his non league loan spells, people who watch the Academy teams regularly have commented that he’s not developed in the last year or so.

There was an illuminating comment from Joe about his future prospects here, few weeks ago.
I’m sure if someone is so inclined they can search his name on the site and find it without too much difficulty.

Here’s hoping he’s done a 180 and is going to be this seasons wild card.
