Corrie Ndaba on 17:53 - Aug 22 by Libero | Indeed, very possible. As I say, he’s got it all to prove. Even if you put aside the fact he was sent home early from both of his non league loan spells, people who watch the Academy teams regularly have commented that he’s not developed in the last year or so. There was an illuminating comment from Joe about his future prospects here, few weeks ago. I’m sure if someone is so inclined they can search his name on the site and find it without too much difficulty. Here’s hoping he’s done a 180 and is going to be this seasons wild card. |
Still pretty young isn't he, especially for a centre back? Maybe he was playing with cr@p players in his loan spells, which brought him down to their level. Or maybe being shunted out to no league didn't inspire him? Either way, from what I saw today there's definitely a player in there.

Corrie Ndaba on 17:42 - Aug 22 by BrixtonBlue | First time I've seen him and I was impressed. Was calm and assured - especially good given the quality of the opposition. Possibly my best player of the whole game. |
I agree with this, several good interceptions and took the ball out of defence with composure and I can't remember him giving the ball away once (he probably did!)

He’s 20, 21 in December. Can’t subscribe to your “cr@p players” theory. He was sent home because he wasn’t considered up to it. You’d hope that your last sentence could be said of all our players, here’s hoping he can build on that performance and apply himself suitably.

Yeah I'm just saying maybe he wasn't up to it because of the cr@p players around him (as in they put him in trouble more) or he couldn't lift himself for non league. To be fair to the lad, you didn't watch today and presumably didn't see any of these non-league performances either? Maybe he's grown up a bit, knuckled down, stronger and fitter now. I dunno, I'm only guessing. He had the class of Woolfy today.

Oh right. Just the once? Was he not very good in that game? I went through a little spell of watching Chelmsford (my home town) many years ago. Always hoped they might grow enough to be sniffing around the league. Don't actually know where they are these days.

Looked disinterested, lacking concentration and powder puff, Chelmsford weren’t playing well to be fair to him, but he looked particularly poor. I trust Joe’s evaluation and had heard similar views expressed by an ex-conference manager who has taken a good number of our Academy prospects on loan in recent years. Keen to believe he can turn it around and make a career here though!

Maybe, but I’m now doubting myself as I can’t find a match report and for some reason there are no recorded statistics of him playing at Chelmsford? Chap I went with pointed out a tall black lad on left side of defence and said he was on loan from Ipswich, assumed that was Ndaba but it’s possible I was wrong? He’s affiliated with West Ham. Even if that wasn’t him, I’ve heard a enough opinions from trusted sources about his development to be surprised to hear he’s performed as well as he has this afternoon! Keep it up Corrie.
Corrie Ndaba on 18:42 - Aug 22 with 2757 views | Mullet | There's every chance of Toto contributing based on today and he is the senior pro. Ndaba more than likely needs a loan like Woolfenden had at Swindon. There's clearly talent there, but he has been hiding it if this is his coming out party so long after being in the squad. That moment with Dele worked out well, but likewise he could have looked very silly and fell over. He definitely has ability on the ball and the raw ingredients to do more, nothing more than that.

Just found a match report from the day, Ndaba was in match day squad but didn’t play, bloke I thought was pony was a guy called Michael Chambers, so turns out I haven’t seen him play!

No Ndaba didn’t play, was on the bench a few times but didn’t play a minute. At Hemel Hempstead he played 45 mins before getting the hook and not seen again. The Chelmsford loan cost him the chance to go elsewhere, possibly Ayr, due to the clubs rule. He was impressive today, especially on the ball and with his confidence and willingness to put himself into positions where he knew and trusted himself to pick it up in pressurised positions.

Sucking the actual Devil’s dick, nice! Good man, we only eat meat 2/3 times a week, it’s improved several of our meals. I personally prefer a veggie stir fry, same with veggie lasagna, veggie Korma and a few others... [Post edited 22 Aug 2020 19:10]

Saw him in a reserve game early last season and thought he was excellent. Clearly he didn't follow it up as he didn't get a look in last season. A year older makes a huge difference at that age - and in that position.

Murdoch is no longer involved with Sky, is what I keep telling myself. I got the job just before lockdown, having been freelance for 2.5 years previously, so I consider it a huge slice of luck and will happily suck that dick dry. Work has been sporadic, which has given me time to work on my book. In which you get a mention! The whole story is written, I just need to do a bit of character development. My mate who read it pointed out that people who don't know the characters won't be as invested in them without a bit of backstory. We've been getting our meals from Hello Fresh, and although they don't have a very big veggie range it's been a revelation. I actually enjoy cooking now and every meal has tasted great. i think I'm ready to go full veggie but the missus isn't quite there yet.

All the best to you, buh! When shall I expect my subsidiary cheques to star arriving? I’m always skeptical of those delivery companies, am I right in assuming they essentially just send you a recipe and ingredients? I can’t Imagine going full veggie, while I don’t think meat is needed with every meal I know I’d really miss it if I removed it entirely. TIB has been challenging himself recently to have a meat free month, seen lots of posts of nice looking grub on Instagram from the old boy.
