If you look back several posters were given the chance to say this is what they meant. They didn't because it wasn't what they meant. They agreed with the sentiment that it was 'months ago' and we should get over it. |

Not sure what point you’re trying to make. I don’t think anybody on here has denied ever making or laughing at a joke that could be deemed racist or homophobic at some point in their lives. Vast majority probably did make inappropriate comments as a kid/teenager or even do on occasion in later life.
Maybe that’s part of the problem though. Those little mildly racist/homophobic jokes/comments that are seen as okay because the person that said them isn’t *really* a racist allows a certain amount of racism and homophobia to still be ingrained in society, which will enable proper racists to flourish.
Will that ever change? Who knows. But I certainly take no issue with people trying to make that change. Therefore, I support the movement like I’d assume the vast majority of decent people would. I can’t fathom why anybody would oppose it, unless they’re a racist. |  |

“This should not be about QPR. Many clubs did not take the knee on the opening weekend, yet this was not reported.
Taking the knee was very powerful but we feel that impact has now been diluted.
In the same way ‘Clap For Carers’ was very emotional for us all, it got to a stage where it had run its natural course and the decision was rightly made to stop it.
Does that mean we, as a nation, don’t care or appreciate our NHS workers? Of course it doesn’t.

I work for one of the most diverse football clubs in this country. A lot of people are being fooled out there.

What media coverage has been given to that? Not nearly as much as what has been granted to QPR not taking a knee.
