Twitter account claiming Lambert “nowhere to be seen” today 11:27 - Dec 7 with 3545 viewsParky

A Twitter account designated to ‘Lambert Out’ claims to have inside information at the club is claiming:

“We’ve heard it’s a rather jovial, happy training ground this morning.
However, Paul Lambert has been nowhere to be seen”

Apologies, I have no idea how to get the link to work on here.

I’m 99.99999% sure this is absolutely BS or he’s on a day off, but a little bit of hope on a Monday morning never hurt anybody, right?

Probably all got a day off, especially as we have no mid-week game, Stuart Taylor put on Instagram on Saturday evening he was driving home to Scotland, that’s a long Ole’ poke.

He'll be hiding from the media with Old Git in the Roy Keane Memorial Bushes.

I particularly enjoyed the 'we've heard' in an attempt to sound like a more professional set up, rather than some chump on his phone tweeting utter b0llocks.

Paul and the rest of the team have been given some much needed time off after masterminding the 2-1 victory against a very good Plymouth side with ten men.

This is promotion form and I for one am very pleased to see an exciting brand of attacking football being developed at ITFC.

I just stumbled across the texts claiming to be from somebody inside the club leaking the information. Genuinely quite laughable.

I think Taylor was talking about the journey from Plymouth to Ipswich

He'd have usrely travelled down with the team though so wouldn't have had a car?

But wouldn't be surprised if they all have a day or two off as first (and only) midweek break for a while

I read that the media boys went down on the team coach so made me think there must’ve been some space?

Taylor’s Insta caption says..

“Here we go. Plymouth to home 485 miles. The longest trip ever...listening to Amy Macdonald will make it go in quicker though 🚗 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 😄👍🏻“

Then there’s all LAMBERT OUT comments etc and another one saying do you ever reply to comments on here? And he’s replied saying “only the sensible ones 😉 👍🏻“

Were two coaches apparently to allow social distancing. Not uncommon for PL and ST to go back to Scotland after matches, although usually from those in the north. I know in the past players' or staff members' cars have been driven to games by someone else so they can drive home afterwards.

Hello Boss. Cleaner would like to know if Cleaner is going to be coming back to Portman Road for custodial duties once the gates are reopened. Times are tough and cleaner is down to his last set of broom bristles.

Cleaner has been happy to volunteer to keep the Blue Action banners nice and polished but Cleaner fears he will not be able to afford his holiday to Hemsby next year. DM cleaner hun x

You have been relieved of your duties due to your over buffing of surfaces. We have had to replace some flooring and surfaces thanks to your overzealous cleaning, Cleaner.

How you buy your Dettol and caravan holiday in Hemsby is not my concern.

Paul Lambert hasn't worn out any worktops yet as far as I know. He doesn't smell of bleach either.

When you protest types can show me that he has then maybe I'll change my mind. Ball's in your court.

Cleaner implores you to reconsider Mr Evans. Tiny Tina needs surgery this Christmas and Cleaner can not afford to cover the costs. Cleaner could make it work on two shillings less per week. Cleaner loves Tiny Tina, she is so much more effective than those fancy Vax contraptions the kids are into. Please sir, Tiny Tina is Cleaner's best mop.
