The unbelievable idiocy was Evans giving him a juicy contract a year ago when it was obvious to us all that Lambert wasn't getting anywhere near the best out of this squad. As soon as we conceded tonight it was game over, so predictable that we wouldn't score, and worse than that we would offer almost zero goal threat. Obviously tough with 10 men, but aside from that 1 half chance for Thomas we created zilch all game. |  |
