Not any time soon. The hysterics on here has been ridiculous. He deserves to go, but Evans moves at glacial speed. Always has done, always will. It's probably got to the point where it's now on his radar and he's making some enquiries but is still thinking about what to do. When we've dropped another 2-3 positions in the league by the end of Feb, then h may do something about it.
There may well be mitigating factors against making a decision now, such as the finances linked to his contract or ME just too busy on other stuff, or simply not knowing what to do next. The worst scenario for all of us is if Evans genuinely thinks Lambert is turning it around and those "green shoots" are real. I've got a sneaky suspicion that may be the case. |  |

Evans doesn’t like spending money. With this 2 year break clause, will have another 12 months to run this summer, so wouldn’t be beyond the realm of possibility he will get another shot at it next year as well.

I doubt he'll get another shot at it unless he wins practically every match from tomorrow to when the season ticket packages are released. At worse he'll be axed just before then, so Evans can promise 'a new start' when trying to fleece the fans for cash. |  |

He sacked Magilton after we beat Norwich convincingly and Keane after reaching a QF tie against Arsenal. Everyone may as well stop getting excited about the next loss. He’s as likely to go after a win. | |
