In all fairness, enough of our young players are out on loan, so it's not entirely incorrect...

It does seem to suggest Blackpool haven’t done any research on us whatsoever, so we might actually have a chance.

No, it just means they’ll be astonished about how easy the game is for them.

We are incredibly well coached, at passing it around the back.

Our possession stats are fantastic.

They'll just read through TWTD on Saturday morning, same as Lincoln and the others do.

If I was being positive, we are very well drilled off the ball (for a division 3 team!), and we stick to our shape really well.

The problem is that that becomes a negative when attacking as we are just too rigid and easy to defend against.

There are no positives. Opposition keepers have two or three saves to make per game when playing us.

In fairness, I think we're pretty good off the ball. Our shape looks pretty good to me and we work hard. When we've our backs to goal and we've had time to regroup, I'm pretty confident nobody is getting through.

It all goes to sh*t the minute we get turned or caught on th break, then we we have people who panic and make stupid individual errors. On the ball is painful too - too slow, don't move the ball quickly enough, seem unable to move it up the pitch through short passes or play quicker balls between the lines.

Sorry, Swan, but I think the complete opposite. Our shape and ability to delay when the opposition is in transition is appalling. If we are given the benefit of time, we will trundle back, but we are very easily pulled out of shape even if we are in shape. Our ability to delay transition is woeful, which is why we are so vulnerable to a quick attack. For a team that plays so deep, to be so open defensively is completely unforgivable: no way we should "get turned or caught on the break". Our style of play should shut up shop on the opposition at all times. Our style is to play deep. We commit very few players forward, so there's no excuse for the gaps we see when under attack. Our 1-2-3 defending, a basic at this level, is poor, exceptionally poor. Our ability to allow space between the lines is appalling: we are set up defensively, not as an attacking force. We have two fundamental problems: without the ball our organisation (and delay) is poor, with the ball the transition is so slow that we would give a walking football team time to get organised. Its' truly awful and pretty basic stuff. Poor, poor coaching. Honestly, it's kids stuff (not you BTW, I don't mean criticism of you, just the coaching staff).
