I felt like taking up your challenge, just to be a contrary fcker. Was gonna suggest Germane Greer, but I don't have the guts to go there and fight that.
I even went to the trouble of googling "cancel culture victims" but that just resulted in people who shoulfd have been cancelled like R Kelly.
Not sure what I reckon on this really, but am nervy about pile-ons in general and don;t really trust the court of public opinion.
It's not about pile-ons. It's about people accepting that they don't live in a bubble where their actions and words have no impact on others. They're free to act as if they are, but their actions and words will inevitably have consequences. It's like blaming the hob for burning you after you've deliberately held your hand to the burner.
The article you linked to started off with the bold claim that 'Cancel Culture is getting worse' but then only offered up half a dozen pretty vague examples with little to no background information. I didn't find it all that convincing. Offering up Boeing as an example of the Leftist woke mob is a little hard to swallow.
You mention public opinion, but really what people mean is the opinion of those on Twitter and Facebook. You're only ever getting a very narrow view of opinions from those two sources. They're extremely loud sources however, which probably makes the problem seem larger than it actually is.
Pronouns: He/Him/His.
"Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."

I think he pointlessly hectored far too many of his guests (left and right) and doesn’t listen.
It just plays up to the oppositional nature of politics where he plays the proxy opponent. I’m sure we’ll have years to look forward of his bad faith takes and him willfully getting people’s positions wrong on a whole range of subjects. But luckily only to a paying audience.
Fair enough - I spose that hectoring made for better telly, but bad analysis poissibly? If you have to pay to see this new channel, then bollox to that. I might have tuned in occasionally to see what the oppo thinks, like RT, but not if its not free.
Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

You read Zero Hedge. You're basically already Hitler.

Ooh I know this one!
One is real (grumpy old gammons on Twitter blocking people who hurt their feelings) and the other is made up guff used by right wing conservatives to cry about their own actions having consequences (cancel culture)?
And right now he is worried about his new right-wing opinion (not news) tv channel going bust before it even starts.
He has £60m from investors and he will simply not survive if advertisers abandon him.
Shame...

But he's an old white man in a suit on TV so he gets free pass to be an authority in whatever he chooses to say.

Completely agree that actions/words should and do have consequences - just not convinced the "punishment" is always fair or proportional. However I can;t find any examples where this has happenned so I hearby stand down.

I think that’s it in a nutshell: Good telly but bad analysis. I always felt like I knew the same as or even less than before and Neil’s evident research was about executing a game plan in some strange gladiatorial arena of his own mind.

Too much riding on brainwashing the masses for it to go bust. Money will appear from somewhere regardless.
I eagerly await a mapping of his funders and their links to other things they fund/associate with.
I think it was Badger who once said of Corbyn "He's not an anti-semite, he was just seen eating at the table with them." If association like that is a hole worth going down I'd like to see the same applied to the likes of Neil (or even better, the Royal family).
Problem is not enough people ask the right questions or take a Bart Simpson answer on merit.
Add the fact these folk have the ability to sue you, rig the legal system or outright bump you off to cover their tracks and it's exactly why we are ruled/controlled/led by criminals on a global scale.

That's kind of my point. It's all been inflated. People say that the punishment doesn't fit the crime, but the problem is, we have a lot of crime but from what I can see very little in the way of actual punishment...

Exactly this.
Too many people in the public eye who are known racists, sexual assaulters, child groomers or have a habit of continually calling it wrong who are never held to justice.
The War on Women is a particular one for me - the fact someone like Trump not only continually allegedly got away with raping girls but then was made president proves it's DEFFO a problem and perhaps we should start listening when multiple women have separate allegations that fit a pattern.

LOL who reported this for abuse?
There is no abuse.
So if anyone felt attacked by this then that says more about them.

I reported it for abuse, I don't think Phil and Gav will want that on their website without an allegedly in there, as it is a pretty serious allegation

That's not an allegation, that info is in the public domain.
you do realise that all of your links only report allegations. so that's 3 allegations.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show
