He is/was in a private hospital so I am not sure of the rules but NHS were taking visitors for end of life only as far as I am aware so I wondered when they said Charles had been to visit. |  |

And even if he was, it is quite reasonable for him to be upset at seeing his Dad in hospital without it meaning he has died.
As stated above, I am not sure why people wouldn't want to wait for an official announcement. The man is clearly resilient having been reported to have died every month for so long now. | |
