There are a lot of coincidences if there's nothing in this. We are precisely the sort of target his group would go for according to the website.

I'm listening to an interview with Johnson. No hint of any investment outside America but one mildly interesting point was that he wants stadiums that are multi use. He mentioned concerts "and other rectangular sports". Portman Road 30,000 seats and 3-4 months a year with no games. Could maybe even have some sort of platform build to keep bands etc off the pitch and have events through the season?
Big theme of sports centred real estate areas. Purely speculating but could there be some sort of deal done for the practice pitch? I think Ipswich council own the land? Maybe they'd see buildings on there in exchange for the potential benefits of a Premier League club?
I realise there's straw clutching and then there's this post but i'm bored and we all love some false hope. That's why so many do the lottery when there are big rollovers. | |

I’d personally be worried why someone who buys clubs and other assets to make money and “tax efficient gains” - his words- is interested in a 3rd tier club that will take £80m+ of investment to get anywhere near the PL.
And if we don’t, all that external debt would be called in as they simply removed another poorly performing asset from his portfolio
