Problem with Norwood is at Town compared to his time at Tranmere, he's not making the off the ball runs needed as the front man, he was fantastic at Tranmere, but you watch videos of some of his goals and he's all over the place making space, inviting passes, and if he's not played in, his making spaces for others to attack themselves
For town, he's just using his weight to try muscle players off the ball, he's not helping those around him hence why it always looks likes he's isolated. |  |

It gets on my nerves because none of the criticism ever has any substance whatsoever and it usually comes from a bunch of lads who follow the ball rather than watch everything that happens off it, which, on nights like tonight, is key to providing an honest assessment of his game. |

If we declare Norwood isn't good enough for a promotion push, while agreeing he's one of if not our best player, then surely you have to declare the rest are also not good enough? And if that's the case what business have we even got chasing promotion in the first place?
We're on the cusp of the play offs, and if by some miracle we got in them and won them, Norwood will have been our best striker and therefore will have been good enough. |  |

I agree with many ref the supply but there were a few times last night that a ball was played into a space where Norwood should've been but his speed of thought was behind that of the player playing the pass through . For the record I agree in that role he is the best we've got but IMHO it doesn't make him a good player. Again it's all about opinions really
I'll add though , we're still playing one up front and I don't think that's effective enough with the calibre of striker we have at the club .We need to play with two up front. Again my opinion | |

He is pour only player who I think is a goalscorer. The fact he is our top goalscorer (with Edwards) and currently has 5 in 7 games, is decent.
The games I have seen, he gives us something different. Hawkins/Drinan and to an extent Jackoson are not going to get us goals. Therefore we need Norwood whether you think he's "good"
Some of the great goalscorers (which i'm not saying he is anywhere near) so like John Aldridge, he could do sod all all game, oh but he got 2 goals! He doesn't "offer anything" other than goals. But that is important. | | | |
