I feel her pain, can go months here without seeing a kebab. My local shop ran outta large silver papers nearly a month ago and as made no attempt to replace them. Tbf, I think she was just pointing out that the "dream" of living in the countryside also comes with it's challenges. The lack of buses and taxis is a real pain.
