Deal for Parrott? What do you think? on 15:35 - Apr 14 with 824 views | Vaughan8 | Lets be honest, he's not really had much service. Given chances he might socre. Does he fit in with Cook's plan, only he will know. I can't believe Spurs would loan him to us to be a bench warner all season.
Deal for Parrott? What do you think? on 15:45 - Apr 14 with 813 views | J2BLUE | Makes little sense with recent team news. Much more likely to be clickbait. Town now considered to have money. This story would attract Town and Spurs fans. Cook said he doesn't trust the players. Well if he's looking to sign Parrott he must trust him. Let's see if he starts the next six games. J2's believability rating: 2/10

Deal for Parrott? What do you think? on 16:03 - Apr 14 with 794 views | WD19 | I think he could have a future, but I am not sure he is the best use of £15k per week for us right now. If we can afford that we should get a Waghorn (type).

Deal for Parrott? What do you think? on 17:30 - Apr 14 with 745 views | Garv | I'd have him. The only senior striker 'on the books' I currently want us to keep is Norwood. If we can secure Parrot early doors it might ease the load. Depends if Cook fancies him obviously.

He's shown nothing to suggest he can lead the line for us and he hasn't looked up to much as a number 10 either. Really don't understand why anyone would want him back, other than his reputation.

He looked really sharp first game. And then it all went tits up. There's definitely a player in there, but with all the negativity and chopping and changing he's become much of an irrelevance hasn't he? I wouldn't want him leading the line as our first choice, but as a versatile player who could come off the bench we could do a lot worse imo. A settled side, settled formation where people know their roles and we have a few half decent players and we may see a whole different side to him. Fk knows, it's really hard to judge based on what we're seeing this year.

He's a signing almost as pointless as Harrop and McGuinness.

Unless they're significantly better than what we've got, better to sign a player we actually own I'd have thought.

Agree, think he's been incredibly disappointing and doesn't look like fulfilling the potential Spurs thought he may have. You have to ask if he is so highly thought of, why is he on loan to a basket case football club in L1? Next season we really do have to get out of this division. It will be be expected by everyone. Therefore we need guarantees, not taking punts on a player who has shown next to nothing in the games he has played for us. If he comes to us next season and is equally disappointing everyone will ask why we signed him again, no one will say it was a risk worth taking that failed. [Post edited 14 Apr 2021 18:53]

I can't imagine it would be a good use of his time and our budget for him to come here to be a bench warmer though. We need to get back to using loans the way Mick used them, to add a bit of genuine spark and quality that we simply can't afford permanently. The last few years we've wasted a lot of time and money on loans who are either rookies or players with questionable fitness that have added very little value.
