I've got mates in Earlsdon, just off Cov city centre. I wouldn't say its pretty but there's a an awful lot of local character and charm and a really as you say it's handy for a lot of places. In a very real sense, Coventry is the Ipswich of the midlands. |  |

But the Stratford-upon-Avon suburb is quite a theatre district... And Birmingham Airport is almost as close to Coventry city centre as it is to Birmingham city centre, Coventry has two cathedrals as well.
