The quality of comment and commenter on here has gone off a cliff over the last few months. It's become a vanity project for a handful of users. All they seem to want is attention, and if that comes at the cost of ruining other people's forum experience, and even driving people away, so be it. |  |

I honestly think this place has gone a bit crackers over the last 18 months what with COVID, working from home and people have more time to post on this place. There seems to be a cliche of posters on here who say and do what they want (not a dig Phil or Gav, more an observation). By heck, we have one poster on here who used a ghastly comment about Kevin Beatties death to use as a stick to beat Lambert with and he still posts on here (no, I won't let it go).
As for chrismakin, I appreciate he's not everyone's cup of tea (he's not mine either), but it seems to be whenever he posts on here, the threads descend in to chaos. I can't fathom that if someone doesn't like what somebody else is posting that they either a) stick them on ignore or b) just kindly move along from their thread without passing comment (pretty much what I do on almost ever single political thread that gets posted on here). Similarly, someone else posted a players name on here the other week and later in the thread mentioned that he was someone which were interested in (they have had info previously - and they've also got stuff wrong) and then this forum just went in to full p*ss take mode. Players names were being posted left right and centre, and the forum was just a mess.
IMO, this place has become pretty unusable at times over the last year or so. But anyhow, happy Thursday everyone. |  |
