No that wasn’t me mate. Great to see Vaclav get a decent move though. We were all very disappointed when he signed for Salford. Seemed like such a waste (no disrespect to Salford)

Is that a local/Scottish expression? The video on there of the penalty shoot-out has 3 good saves from him. The second and third being especially good.

My Scottish relatives use that expression. Mind you should the ref not have made the first 2 penalties be retaken? He was a long way off the line

Ha Ha. Never knew that was just a Scottish saying. Just noticed someone else also used it on the BAWA thread. Thanks for all the good wishes lads. Obviously the same goes to you. May the spirit of John Wark be with you next season Don’t panic! That doesn’t mean he’s dead.

No. He jumped off the line as they were taken didn't he? Ended up well forward of the line but only from the dive.

Have another look mate. For both of those penalties he still has one foot on the goal line when the ball is struck. He just leaps forward so quickly he appears to be off his line. The ref that day made a point of warning both keepers about the rule before the shoot out.

Yes you’re right mate. In fairness, Siegrist is a decent keeper too, but he’s no Hladky

The irony if we sign them both. Cheers for the link mate, if I'm ever in Scotland I'm going to try and get to a St Mirren game now

Dundee United are my “second team” because my family are “frae Dundee” and I went to dozens of Tangerine Terror games at Tannadice with my beloved Uncle Charlie, RIP. So I hated that sequence when I first saw it. But I love it now. Thanks for sharing. I think we have found ourselves a star. I don’t think the Liechtenstein kid from United will be coming now, but Holy is an ok back-up and we’ll be very safe between the posts with our two ‘Czech mates’

United are a great club. Most Scottish clubs outside the two arsecheeks of the Old Firm are.

We have our connection with Fortuna so why not with a Scottish club. Let’s suggest St Mirren!

I went a few years ago - some good beer and chat at the Hauf pub and free beans with my pie at the game. Thought I'd won the lottery.
