Hooever - I did hear on O'Briens show that Whitty had been assaulted which made me feel a bit sad because he's a bit of an odd ball with the physique of Mr Burns, but then I saw some footage and it was a couple of drunk youngsters simply acting the goat - unless I have missed something. I didn't see an assault.
Gotta say though I may not have seen what people are talking about and what I did see was pretty daft and imposingly insulting

As stated earlier in the thread, it fits the CPS definition of assault regardless of any fear it may have induced, or whether some people wouldn't care about it if it happened to them. The definition is pretty black and white. You can downplay it and say that there are bigger fish to fry, but that doesn't stop it from being assault. |  |

Two men grabbing another man, and then by their own admission, having him round the neck which caused him to have to forcibly remove himself from their grasp. As I say, it's on the lower end of the spectrum and as others have explained, it wouldn't be ABH etc. but it categorically fits the definition of assault. | |

Your position is very weird although that's not surprising as your default positions are all very weird for a good few months now. I've certainly not said either of those things.
