Better x 100!
I couldn’t hear my mate next to me at times.
Some of your fans were pathetic I might add, all there for England and they were hunting out little old Ipswich.... needless to say, they shouldn’t have...
Seeing club rivalry at International game is a pet hate of mine. Had the same at the Euros in 2016 before the England Wales game. Some little c**k Norwich supporter chirping up as we stood next to my mates England flag with the Town badge in the corner. We're all there for a good time and to support England. Soon got sent on their way, not just by Town fans either. Their inferiority complex really is unhealthy.

Yep. Was the best day. Unbelievable atmosphere. It’s been a tough comedown today!
Defo! We drove up so only had a couple of jars but I feel hungover. Must be coming down from the sheer out of body euphoria that lasted for quite some time from when Sterling scored!

I remember going to Alicante to watch us play Spain (when we lost 2-0) and a group of Norwich fans were singing anti Ipswich stuff outside a bar. Locals and other England fans looked on absolutely bewildered.

Some pantomime booing of a rivals national anthem which happens all the same has caused some tears.
...and then there’s those saying we shouldn’t laugh at a little German girl and her dad in tears. ffs it’s football, that’s what it’s all about, happens to us all.
Why’s there so many fannies out there these days.
Nothing wrong with showing fans crying on the TV emotions are very much a part of any decent football experience.
Can remember when we played Coventry away, first match after the death of Sir Bobby. Sky ended their short report with the words “ and some shed a tear” wife’s phone didn’t stop ringing on the way home to Ipswich

Noggin; I believe you must scour the media so you can find something to criticise. Us real football supporters have been ridiculed so many times supporting England or and Ipswich - we take it and return it. Now I do not live on social media - those that do can always find a few village idiots who go over the top. My advice is to focus on the very large majority of us who know how to behave rather than searching out the idiots - it will make you a happier person also, surely.

I don't need to go searching, there are plenty of idiots on here. I haven't criticised you or any other sensible England supporter as far as I can remember.

You think a grown man laughing at a young girl crying is normal behaviour? I would say that grown man has some issues.
I think you are overthinking this one.
I didn’t laugh, I think I might’ve even said “awwwww”.
But…she was at an event where people/fans are projected onto the big screen all the time. You know that when you buy the ticket. If you’re going down the route you are over behaviour, you should question her parents taking her. I personally think they’re great for taking her.
She’ll get over it, like every fan has to this date and will forever more. The lows only heighten the highs. I admire her passion for the game at her age.
What I fear is the media finding her, giving her a shirt/tickets/player meet and then every Tom, Dick and Harry holding their crying kid towards the camera in future matches. This is what happens these days.
She cried, some laughed, move on. It’ll only drive her love of football further in future.
Do love this UEFA song played at all the games. I am biased as it is the tune played as we bring the shirt flags onto the pitch. It does get the crowd hyper though. Bono and The Edge good as always.

Not over thinking, I didn't know about people laughing at her until Sitters mentioned it. He seems to think it's acceptable, I think it's a bit bizarre from a grown man. Nothing more than that.

It was amazing. The second half was like a dream. The scenes when we scored, the Muller miss, the celebrations afterwards.
Just the greatest day.
TW Despite me saying I was going to give the last 16 game a miss just couldn’t resist picking up a ticket on the UEFA website last Saturday. Certainly one of my top football moments although being at Wembley on the 6th May 1978 still tops it.
