I'm thinking of buying a lighthouse to use as a part time residence.
It's no longer functions and is half a mile from the coast (I wont say where it is) for obvious reasons.
The thing is you still have to pay council tax BUT there is no Bin collections or local amenities and you have to provide transport to and from the mainland yourself.
The current incumbents pay approx £750 a year, do you think this is right? |  |

Good luck, lighthouses don't tend to show up very often.
There was one recently that was listed for some time and several potential buyers interested but didn't sell in the end - it was on, then off, then on again... |
