There’s normal football crowing and then there was this. Banging on the windows of the train to kids sitting their shouting that they better get used to league 1. And then getting in random people’s faces standing on the train. Police just watching on.
I was literally stood by the doors as their mob turned up. I carried on looking through the scores (let down by 1 on an accumulator for the third week running ffs) only to have them shouting about ‘you Ipswich c**ts’ and one lad getting in my face. Literally no need. I was probably one of about 35 they tried to fight. A mob of 40. As soon as a couple of Ipswich fans retaliated, they affectively circled them whilst the police watched on.

That definitely wasn’t the same group.
This lot were presumably an organised ‘firm’ as they stuck together, all had the same stone island stuff on and were literally all walking from carriage to carriage to carriage down the train station as a group looking to throw punches to whoever they could. All whilst the police literally watched without any care to intervene . | |
