I saw him in Beatties after the game a few weeks ago, and he said he’s actually enjoying just going along and watching as a fan. He may not be completely closed to a return at some point I got the impression, but not for now. |  |

I would imagine it's to make the place less welcoming for the opposition. Same reason that opposition badge no longer appears on scoreboard when the team is read out and the fact anything related to the opposition is always black text on white background for them rather than their colours.
Be interested in what we are doing in the away dressing rooms too. About time we made life tougher for teams that come here rather than being gentle old Ipswich. | |

Let’s not celebrate 30 yrs since Lyalls success - winning the 2 div is something that lot up the road completely thrash us at. Let’s stick with celebrating winning Div 1, the FA Cup and the UEFA cup. Everything else is for the participants to gloat over! |  |

Just ask yourself whether Town in our glory years would have done that, if that was the style of the Cobbolds, if what you have suggested actually sounds a bit second rate and tin pot?
I prefer clubs that have magnanimity, an element of grace and courtesy, that are welcoming and convivial to supporters and opposition alike. Until the team crosses that white line that is. And it is the common decency outside of the ninety minutes that gives value and commitment to a maximal competitiveness during the game. |  |
