....didn't 'take the knee.'
Surely if you do it then you do it as a team? Didn't look good in terms of team dynamics I thought.

Personal choice.

Individual choice, team game. Hard to reconcile. What's more important?
Has taken e knee had its day,. Is it as irrelevant as the forced hand shake etc.

I applaud but I'd not notice if we stopped doing it.
Did Wednesday? Can't say I remember.

But to me the choice is an interesting one on your home debut and to me it says, 'I am bigger than/separate from the team.' Sheffield Wednesday, as a team, all stood.

Just my opinion but I think you're looking for something that isn't there.

Which I thought was ironic given they had 5-6 black players in their starting lineup, I did wonder at the time how they felt about it and whether it was team pressure that made that decision rather than individuals as I would imagine at least 1 of them would have strong feelings about it

No but they acted as one...either choice is fine but it should be a team one and to be honest if one of the team wants to kneel then why wouldn't you?

Nothing to do with him thinking he is bigger or better than anyone. It is a personal choice. No pressure on anyone to/not take the knee. Think you are either over thinking things, or looking for a stick to beat him with. It has and always will be personal choice.

...and yet until yesterday we had managed to make a united team decision, my opinion is that he has made a poor choice, that is all.

It may be a good/poor decision, but it is his to make. Zaha stopped taking the knee, but his teammates still did. Think he is a team player? It is a personal choice thing, nothing to do with team spirit and alike.

I think individuality is something to be celebrated, personally. I see strength in feeling comfortable to do this in a team when other individuals elect to do the opposite. Let’s also not forget which part of the world Celina is from too. It’s all well and good making stances but the practical realities of that in other regions can have very different ramifications.

It seems to me that if you are coming in to a team which is doing it, you are making something of a point by standing apart.

Personal choice v team spirit. I can remember when the Arsenal captain decided if they wore long or short sleeved shirts. Individual players had no choice.

I feel it is becoming a meaningless gesture, I fully support it, like to see it and will continue to applaud it, regardless if all or some players continue with it, but feel the impact has now waned. I am not sure it reduces racist behaviour.

Are you suggesting that he doesn't want to offend racist Kosovans?

I share a lot of those thoughts but still think a unified team stance is important.

Well if that turns out to be the reality don't you think he should be called out?

Edit...my thought at the game was however about team unity not pointless speculation on Celina's (cheers Blue Order) politics.

I wasn’t expecting him to tbh. We know he’s susceptible to conspiracy theories being a flat earther, so he’s going to be vulnerable to misinformation in general. Probably thinks all his team mates are Marxists!
