I don't/didn't listen but on a human level it's still a year in which an old lady lost her husband and long-term companion.
I have no problem with her, she was here long before I was, doing her duty and served her country.
No amount of privilege in the world could compensate for her life.
The rest of the mob on the other hand should be stripped of the utterly outdated and ridiculous titles connected with 'Royalty' once her time has passed.
She deserves to go out with a bit of respect and dignity in my opinion.

Queenie,bless her, has given up most of her life at a fairly thankless task.Perhaps the whole Monarchy thing can be retired when she passes and we move to a system where the Head of State is decided by something other than accident of birth. You beat me to it! I used to have strong republican views but given the choice of a monarch or a President who, in this day and age, is likely to be a populist like the buffoon we currently have as PM I’ll take the former.
