Nah, the polling figures she gets (compared to the other candidates) amongst the public mean she'll get little support amongst MPs.

I think that all contenders in the forthcoming leadership contest are profoundly flawed; vain, insane and frankly deluded

The only feintly sensible one is Jeremy Hunt and he is a wrong'un by any standards

All the while, Starmer K grows in stature and appears more reasonable and competent

I think any Tory successor will crash and burn in the next General Election, no matter who succeeds Fluc.... ( Fat, Useless Lying C***t)

Patel isn't popular enough among Tory MPs to make the top 2. My guess is that it'll be one of Truss and Sunak against someone from either the Theresa May or David Cameron wing.

Sadly, I fear you're underestimating the stupidity of the general pubic here.

A survey in 2106 concluded that as many as 52% of them are irredeemably thick.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

oddly, and remembering the John Major and Jim Hacker, her lack of popularity might be her her biggest asset

she might end up being picked as the person no one wants and therefore causes the least upset on either side

Although at least a few of them will be having Buyer's Remorse and bitterly regretting voting the way that they did

That should be enuff to tip the balance away from this collection of fools

If they want a unifying force to minimise upset among MPs they'll pick someone like Sajid Javid or Penny Mordaunt.

Sue Gray's full report...

Heard the Beeb's 'Profile' on her this morning, she's a pretty shrewd, tough character who took time out from civil servitude to run a pub in a difficult area during the Troubles in NI, and was well respected for it, even an attack on her car (stopped by the IRA on a lonely road late at night) being withdrawn when they realised who she was.

Plus with all the whitewash-Greywash predictions now becoming a mass expectation, I think there's more than a fair chance she'll rebel & come out with a hard-hitting, accurate report.

Fingers crossed.

Was amused to see a tweet last night after the latest reports of a private party at the number 10 flat and the rest which said "We're going to need a bigger Sue Gray."

A good analysis.

She won't want to be seen as Johnsons puppet - and it would leave her looked corrupted if evidence comes to light that she did not report.

However, the bloated buffoon is done for - I would advise him to start steaming off that wallpaper, rather than trying to cajole idiot MPs to support him.

The only hope for the Tories is if the moderates seize back control from the swivel eyed loons.....Swayne, Dorries, Fabric unt etc. That will not be a bloodless cue. So expect the Express to run with headlines about needing a PM who will shoot immigrants, make using a food bank a criminal offence and watching CH4 an un British activity.

What appears t be holding them up is agreeing on what idiot wants to take over the current mess.

Idiot..........hmmm......Truss.
