Nope. Mine was actually Wright! Taught his kids but never actually met him. Saw him at a parents evening but never to speak to.
Stocky was my first Town hero after I met him at the Suffolk Show one year.
Curry I met at an event whilst studying at Nottingham.
Benjamin I met on her way to the House of Lords as was I! My colleague recognised her and we had a great chat. A remarkable lady. Interestingly it was also Peter Aldous' first day at work as an MP and we saw him boarding the train looking like a schoolboy on his first day at school.
Alan Lee was another one I met and chatted to at the Suffolk Show.
Now I think of the moving in the same circles, I could have included Henry Olonga. I organised an event for him and a visit to the school I worked at but then was ill and unable to attend either. He is another remarkable person. | |
