The way it was just explained on the wireless is yes it can be sold if it's been seized as an asset, however Abramovich wouldn't receive any money from the sale the tax payer would. Although it seems that's highly unlikely at the moment as the aim of the sanctions is for these individuals to put pressure on Putin. |  | | |

I would say that a total transfer ban and a ban on all further ticket sales is a pretty big change.
How self-sufficient is Chelsea if it can't sell players or tickets?
The government's statement is thus far light on detail, but taken literally it would imply that no away teams will be allowed fans at Stamford Bridge, which seems like an unfortunate unintended consequence. Maybe this will be a further, as yet unannounced, exception with this licence that's been referred to. |
No away fans wouldn't affect Norwich..... they'd return the tickets anyway. |  |
