Player of the Season on 14:18 - Apr 1 with 881 views | Bluearmy71 | I would have thought that "The Fridge" would be in contention but his injury may have scuppered his chances now, Wolfy has had his best season ever imo and should be a serious contender, Walton has been impressive so maybe a dark horse if ya like, at the end of the day Janoi deserves all the plaudits he gets, he has been outstanding this season and if it wasn't for he fact that Wes Burns has also had the season of his life Janoi would be the choice but Wes is my choice for player of the year, we haven't had anyone who brings such excitement and anticipation of something really is going to happen everytime he gets the ball for so many years. With the exception of Scott Fraser who moved cos he didn't get his own way whilst here, everyone who played for us especially since KM took over has done us proud (we can't blame the players for Paul Cooks tactics or lack of, they were playing as instructed by him) so to have as many candidates for player of the season as we have this year is exceptional and speaks volumes about the players we have now! Whatever happens in the 6 remaining games I wanna thank the owners, the board, the manager, all coaching staff at the club now and lastly but no means least my fellow Town fans for making this season the most exciting and atmospheric season we have had for years, our future really is in safe hands now!! Ipswich till I die.
Player of the Season on 14:39 - Apr 1 with 829 views | itfcsuth | It’ll be tight between Burns and Donacien - couldn’t begrudge either. I’ll be voting Donacien - for a man to have been discarded by managers, loaned out, come back, written off by fans on here, shouts for him to be sold - and never once has he ever seemed to have kicked up a fuss. Bounced back, worked hard, and delivers 8/10 week after week. Something quite remarkable about him.
Player of the Season on 16:21 - Apr 1 with 792 views | jayessess | In the end I voted for Woolfie. He's currently 9/10 week after week and I wanted to celebrate how far he's come since Christmas.

Player of the Season on 16:53 - Apr 1 with 759 views | GlasgowBlue | Janoi for me. Burns for each game he has played. But he missed a few through injury. Mosrsy and Woolfie if it started when K Mcac took over. But Janoi has been 8/10 nearly every single game. And he's been on one hell of a journey to get to this point.

Player of the Season on 17:39 - Apr 1 with 721 views | have_a_word_with_him | So many to choose from, what a nice change from the last 10 years of having to go for the goalkeeper as they seemed to have most to do and no outfield player had done anything of note! Very tough as well this year, at the moment I'd flip a coin between Burns and Donacien, they've both been absolutely brilliant.

Player of the Season on 13:48 - Apr 1 by DJR | Also Janoi has played a big part in Wes's success. |
Indeed. Wes hardly has to even come back to help out with Donacien behind him. The luxury of being able to hang forward while the opposition over-commit has been the special sauce in the right side’s success this season. Our attack would be less threatening without Burns but our defence and our overall balance would be severely compromised without Donacien.

Player of the Season on 20:27 - Apr 1 with 643 views | RonFearonsHair | JD will get my vote. As much as anything, because I look for role models in the team for my sons to look up to. His story of working hard in coming back from adversity and never giving up is such a good lesson for them to learn from. If he does win it, I wonder if he will be the first to do so having been signed 3 managers prior?

That's player of half a season then lol. Janoi. Burns. Morsy. Walton. Anyone of those imo. Solid since either the league started or since they started ( maybe ignore Walton debut lol. )

Player of the Season on 13:00 - Apr 1 by mkbobby | Burns by a country mile the stats tell you everything , i know fans love JD but if he wasn'nt in the team we wouldn't miss him like burns as woolfie could do his job but no one could do burns role |
Ironically, I think Burns would miss JD. He's a big part of Burns performances, imo.. Gets up in support, and covers a lot of ground to get back... To say we wouldn't miss JD?.. Not so sure about that. His work rate is immense, imo.... From memory, I can only recall JD having 1 dodgy game this year, when McGreal played him on the left vs Charlton away I think... And as good as Wes has been, the early missed chance against Cheltenham at home and failure to track back against Sheff Weds, which contributed to their goal, are still moments that are fresh in my mind.. I know that sounds very harsh, and Wes has been great.. But it's the only way I can split the two of them, in the vote... Morsy and Walton are both definitely in the conversation , too.... Over the whole season, imo, JD, Burns, Walton and Morsy have been super consistent.... Waltons game away at Charlton, his penalty save vs Oldham, and an unbelievable save, at a crucial time in the match, vs Wycombe away, are a few of his stand out moments, for me.. Had Morsy not missed those games through suspension, I may have said him... But it's JD by a whisker for me...
