That's pretty much the current state of play, I like the first three paragraphs especially.
The other one which is often used is "just asking questions" which is a form of the logical fallacy "poisoning the well".
It's nicely summarised by RationalWiki:
"Just asking questions (also known as JAQing off) is a way of attempting to make wild accusations acceptable (and hopefully not legally actionable) by framing them as questions rather than statements. It shifts the burden of proof to one's opponent; rather than laboriously having to prove that all politicians are reptoid scum, one can pull out one single odd piece of evidence and force the opponent to explain why the evidence is wrong."
It's surprisingly popular on here with some posters.

Just because someone has a different opinion it doesn't mean someone needs to respect it if it's demonstrably false.

Some people hold strong opinions that some ethnic groups need to be wiped out.
Anyone standing up to that hardly needs to 'grow up' do they?
Some people think other human beings are worth less because of their colour, sex, age... are you suggesting that's ok and should not be challenged?
