Nonsense. There's no way they could possibly keep him in the party if there was some actual evidence of antisemitism, regardless of what the left might think. If there were, and they didn't get rid of him, the Labour Party would lose all credibility. |
I can see why some people (who may or may not have an agenda) could read the Mear One mural FB comment as evidence of anti-Semitism.

Whether Corbyn is a hard core jew hating racist seems to be a matter of opinion, rather than fact, hence the choice. I can see why he's got Corbyn as 'out' as he can, but no further. Also, if Corbyn were to stand as an independent and having a good name locally, i can see him winning against a labour candidate. |
I imagine in the real world its very unlikely a barrister like Starmer would turn a blind eye to having such a blatant racist in his party for a second. The bit that I could never quite get my head round in the whole period of accusations is that there is clear evidence going back decades of support by Corbyn for women, black people, gay people, transgender people, muslims, the elderly ....
He just comes across as this wonderful man who accepts absolutely everybody (to the point where a lot of black youths who hated all politicians and thought they were totally out of touch, actually embraced Corbyn) without prejudice, supporting and championing them all.
Except Jews. A group famously persecuted. Who according to some he hates. WTF?
I get that he may not have acted upon stuff he should have done, but how could a man so famous for being a champion for all humanity who has done all this tireless work to help so many and believe that we are all equal, then actively prejudice against this particular group.
