Looking at the website it seems that ticket sales for the Colchester game are very low indeed. Anybody else slightly surprised at this given the current feel good factor around the club and the fact it is against a local side? I’d have thought it would have got a significantly bigger crowd than equivalent games in previous years but it doesn’t seem like they’ll be the case. |  | | |  |

Mid week, very early in season in a non event tournament! and many many people are on holiday over these weeks. Wouldn’t surprise if the crowd looked low v MKD too. I know 6 people that are missing that game alone, all ST holders. |  |

Peoples incomes are being severely stretched now. Higher interest rates , mortgages going up , energy fuel vist going through the bloody roof (profiteering bas yards ), food costs going up daily…. So if a fans disposable income (What’s left of it ) becomes a choice between a Town league game or a Micky mouse cup competition which is essentially a training run for the 2nd string, I guess people will plumb for the next league game ! |  |
