Where teams are in the table after 6 games is a bit weird tbh when using it for a negative view.

We didn't really offer anything in terms of a threat for 70-75 mins until Barnsley tired having played mid-week. Bolton was fairly similar.
I'm not sure you can win promotion playing a slow passive build up like we do. Allows teams to get set with 11 behind the ball. | |

This thread makes me wonder if you actually watched the game. We did break them down, we were robbed by the ref, and could have quite easily won every game.

I'm not sure I'd define our football as passive. Even yesterday when not at our best we moved the ball quickly...pulling Barnsley from side to side to create space.
For me...that's the kind of result that sets a good bar. Barnsley made it tough for 70 mins but we didn't get dragged into their game...we kept at it and had it not been for the ref...would have won. |  |

Of course we can, I'm just pointing out that what we're seeing on the pitch currently mirrors our downfalls from last season. We've not shown that we're capable of adapting against teams that sit in and defend.

Against Bolton we should have won, we dominated the second half (17 shots to 5 overall I think) and Morsy really should have scored at the end. It was a dominant display. Against Barnsley we should definitely been 3-1 up if not for appalling refereeing and then the game is totally different.
Shrewsbury tried to defend and got roundly beaten.
You've made a decision then attempted to get the facts to fit that decision and in my opinion they simply don't. It's almost a minor version of P-Hacking.
