As a pure spectacle, the pomp is incredible imo. Forgetting all the wider arguments around the royals, the scale, coordination, colours, sounds all make something pretty special.
I’m a bit worried about Big Ben though. I thought it was on its last legs and they were trying to avoid using it. Each time I heard the bong, I’m wondering if it could be it’s last.
