I usually listen to 6 Music... and one on their current 'A list' that every time I hear it makes me think along the lines of when my parents when I was a kid would utter "What is this... it just sounds like noise!" and I tend to either want to retune or switch off.
Exhibit A: "björk : atopos" - or, am I missing something?

I'm the same with the new Bjork song - it is dreadful. Experimental to the point that someone needed to say no!
That tune is a pile of sh1t - totally agree.
For me, the only new music I listen to is on Kiss, as my boy demands it every time we're in the car and I'm a pushover. You kind of get used to the general low quality, but anything auto-tuned (lots) does my nut. Or anything in the style of mumbling fool Drake, who's songs always sound like he's humming to himself in the bath.
Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa
I actually bought Stars when it came out and quite liked it. I don’t know whether it’s Hucknall’s annoying face, annoying voice, annoying lyrics or what, but I just can’t bear the sound of it. Off switch or change the station as fast as my reflexes will go.
I only recently realised that the artist I refer to in my head as Unintelligible Mumbling Man is in fact Drake. Absolutely awful rubbish.
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Agree. I love 6 Music, and quite like some of Björk's previous stuff, but I just don't get that Atopos tune. Sounds like 2 or 3 completely different tunes thrown together very badly. Or maybe I'm just old. Very much going for a bit of Sharon Van Etten - Headspace, The Comet Is Coming - CODE & Been Stellar - Manhattan Youth though, in case that makes any difference to anything at all!!

One to cause a riot on here, or the vapours….
Marvin Gaye
Never liked the songs, never liked his voice. Legend he maybe, awful (to me) he most certainly was.

No, - George Ezra: shot at dawn or preferably earlier.
Sexual Healing - irritating song. Didn’t work for me! Oooh errr.
Just goes to show how subjective music is, and all the better for it. In my eyes 'What's Going On' is one of the finest, and quite possibly the finest album ever.
I am completely indifferent to The Beatles though.
No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Yes, it is subjective and all the more fun for that. We shall agree to differ on the Gayemeister, but not on the Beatles. They never made me want to reach for the off button and I do have a few of the albums somewhere - why I don’t know because I never played; them total indifference so I agree on them.
Now somebody I want to reach for the hammer rather than the off button is Chris de Burgh. Warbling awfulness from beginning to end. Another for the firing squad.
Sadly, Mrs C absolutely adores him and must have seen him 50+ times live (if he was ever alive). When I first knew her it’d be a question ‘oh, listen to this one, listen to the lyrics of this, it’s about that’ etc. I couldn’t say I’d rather slam my head in the oven door than suffer it any more, but she got the message eventually. Then Lady in Red came out. Oh god….

I hope you're not referring to this awesome tune!
I am guessing I should be thanking my lucky stars that that is geo-locked for me....so much in fact it does not even give me a a clue to the artist/title

You're talking about Toploader I guess, Bugs is referencing a different song with the same title by Thin Lizzy from a couple of decades earlier.
Anyway, I can, upon hearing the first note of the Archers theme tune either hit the off button or change channel before the second note. Even if I am driving and the manoeuvre requires both hands on the wheel and both eyes on the road.

The beginning of the end for Q magazine when they did their Top 100 albums of all time and has Stars at No 1.
